Advisor: John Speidel

John Speidel is currently the Senior Process Design professor in the Chemical and Biological Engineering department at Drexel University. Prof. Speidel earned his BS in Chemical Engineering at the University of Delaware and his Master's degree in Chemical Engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology. Outside of his work at Drexel University, Prof. Speidel has years of experience in Process Design Engineering at various chemical engineering companies.

 Liam Cummings


Liam is a freshman chemical engineering student at Drexel University.  As well, he is a part of the Pennoni Honors College.  He became interested in chemical engineering after discovering a deep-rooted passion in chemistry.

Kimberly Leyzerzon

 

Kimberly is a freshman chemical engineering student at Drexel University.  She developed a passion for chemical engineering when she was a sophomore in high school, when she realized how much she enjoyed chemistry and her teacher had suggested to look into chemical engineering.

 Douglas Meadowcroft


Douglas is a first year chemical engineering student at Drexel University.  He is studying chemical engineering after realizing his skills for biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics.  As well, his father is an aerospace engineer at Boeing, which also influenced his decision.

Shawn Mengel


Shawn is a first year chemical engineering student at Drexel University. He is a member of the Pennoni Honors College as well as the Engineering Learning Community. Shawn plans to join the BS/MS program at Drexel with a focus in renewable energy technologies.

 Mark Rad

 

Mark is a student in the progress of completing a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Electrical Engineering at Drexel University.  His choice of Computer and Electrical Engineering is because of his love of everyday consumer and mobile electronics.  He is also minoring in Engineering Management.  His goal in 10 years is to be in higher management for a consumer technology giant such as Intel, Qualcomm, or AMD.
